Explore how to take UO courses without formal admission.

Chances are if you’re curious about it, the University of Oregon has a class on it.

Nearly anyone can enroll in regular UO classes through the Community Education Program (CEP). Formal admission is not required and you may register for up to 8 credits per term during fall, winter, and spring terms, more during summer term.

To support students in continuing their education during this unprecedented situation, the University of Oregon is increasing term credit limits for undergraduate CEP students to 20 and graduate CEP students to 16 for each term of the 2020-21 academic year. CEP students who cannot register for more than 8 credits, please contact the Office of the Registrar for assistance.
