UO Community Education Program

Services and Privileges

Actively enrolled CEP students have access to a variety of resources that are supported through mandatory fees. These include:

For details on additional services or privileges, inquire at the office in which you are seeking use of a service or facility. Your UO ID card will often be required to verify your enrolled status.

CEP students do not pay the Health Service fee and therefore are not eligible for health and counseling services.

Note: Self-support courses may charge fees that replace the typical tuition and fees, thus limiting access to some campus services.

UO ID Cards

As an actively enrolled CEP student, you are entitled to a UO ID card that can be used to access services on campus.

To obtain your card, after you have registered for classes, visit the UO Card Office in the Erb Memorial Union (EMU). Students must pay a one-time fee of $7 to receive an ID card.

  • Lost or stolen cards are subject to a replacement fee.
  • If you have previously obtained an ID card, you may continue to use that card.

All fees will be billed to your UO student account. If you have questions, call the UO Card Office at 541-346-3113.

Duck ID/E-mail Accounts

Claim your Duck ID to create a UO e-mail account and get access to campus services.

Canvas

Canvas is the course management system used by the University of Oregon. Canvas supports both face-to-face (on campus) and distance education (online) courses, offering functions such as:

  • course materials (access to read, download, or print)
  • discussion boards
  • assignments (receive and submit)
  • quizzes
  • grades (view and monitor)

For information about fully online courses, please contact Distance Education by calling 541-346-4231 or e-mailing disted@uoregon.edu.

The Canvas login page is located at https://canvas.uoregon.edu.

Your Canvas login information is the same as your University of Oregon e-mail account and e-mail password. For example, student@uoregon.edu would login using "student" and their e-mail password.

Canvas support for students is provided by the UO Libraries Computer Help Desk.
