Procedures

  1. You must have an active registration eligibility status and Personal Access Code (PAC) to register. If you have not actively enrolled within the past four terms you will need to activate your status.
  2. You must use DuckWeb to register. (Note that the University of Oregon no longer handles registrations through an automated phone system.) Instructions on using DuckWeb will be sent to you along with your Personal Access Code. If you do not have access to a computer when registering, call the CEP office at (541) 346-5614 to explore alternatives.

Changes in Registration

All Drops, Adds, and Changes to Credits or Grading Options are made through DuckWeb. Registration in courses with prerequisites must be pre-approved by the department or instructor. Contact the department for instructions.

Complete Withdrawals are not accepted by DuckWeb. Students should contact the Office of Academic Advising, 346-3211, Oregon Hall Room 364, for assistance in doing a complete withdrawal. Refunds are subject to the tuition refund schedule listed on the calendar.

Policies

  • Through the Community Education Program, you can take a maximum of 8 credits each term during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.
  • You may register for any university course, if space is available, provided you have satisfied the course's prerequisites.
  • CEP students without a bachelor's degree will be classified as undergraduate students and will not be approved to enroll in graduate-level courses.
  • CEP students are subject to the same calendar of deadlines as admitted students.
  • Course work is recorded on a transcript and may be applied to degree programs as academic resident credit.
  • CEP students planning to transfer course work to another institution should check transfer policies at that institution.
